By using this website and our FFL transfer services, you agree to these terms. WV Wild Outdoors operates a physical retail store in Birch River, West Virginia.
WV Wild Outdoors is a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). All firearm sales and transfers are conducted in accordance with federal firearms laws, ATF regulations, West Virginia state firearms laws, required NICS background check procedures, and proper identification requirements.
We reserve the right to refuse any sale or transfer at our discretion.
Federal law requires: 18 years or older for rifles and shotguns (long guns), 21 years or older for handguns. Valid government-issued photo ID required for all purchases.
Under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)), certain individuals are prohibited from purchasing or possessing firearms. You must certify that you are not a prohibited person when completing ATF Form 4473.
A "straw purchase" is when you buy a firearm for someone else who cannot legally purchase it themselves. Straw purchases are a federal crime under 18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(6) and can result in up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
To complete your FFL transfer, bring: valid government-issued photo ID with current address, ability to complete ATF Form 4473 in person, and time to wait for NICS background check.
All firearm sales at WV Wild Outdoors are final once the transfer is complete. Please inspect your firearm before paperwork begins. Background check fees are non-refundable once initiated.
Handguns cannot be transferred to out-of-state residents; we can ship to an FFL in your home state. Long guns may be transferred directly if compliant with both states' laws.

Under West Virginia law (W. Va. Code § 46A-2A-101), we will notify you if we experience a data breach compromising your personal information.
