FFL Transfers
How do FFL transfers work?
Contact us first before you purchase online. We'll provide our FFL info to give to the seller. They ship to us, we call you when it arrives (usually 3-7 business days), then you come in, complete the ATF 4473, pass the NICS background check, pay the transfer fee, and you're done. Requirements can vary — call to confirm.
What do I need to bring for an FFL transfer?
You'll need a valid government-issued photo ID (WV Driver's License or ID), proof of current WV address if different from your ID (like a utility bill), and payment for the transfer fee. Cash or card accepted. Requirements can vary — call to confirm.
How old do I need to be for an FFL transfer?
You must be 21+ for handguns, 18+ for long guns. West Virginia residents only for handgun transfers. Out-of-state residents from contiguous states may transfer long guns per federal law. Requirements can vary — call to confirm.

Hunting & Fishing Licenses
Can I buy my hunting license at your shop?
Yes! We're an official WV DNR License Agent. We can issue hunting licenses, fishing licenses, deer tags, turkey stamps, and trout stamps right here in the shop.
Do I need a separate stamp for deer/turkey?
Yes. In addition to your base hunting license, you'll need a deer stamp for deer hunting and a turkey stamp for spring gobbler season. We can set you up with everything you need.
Can out-of-state hunters buy licenses here?
Yes, we can issue non-resident hunting and fishing licenses. Bring a valid ID. Non-resident license fees are higher than resident fees.

What are your hours?
We're open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Closed on Sundays.
Where exactly are you located?
We're at 121 WV-82, Birch River, WV 26610. Take I-79 Exit 57. We're across from GoMart, visible from Rt 19.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we have a parking lot right in front of the shop. Easy in and out.
Products & Services
Do you sell ammunition?
Yes, we stock rifle ammo, shotgun shells, and handgun ammunition. Popular calibers like .30-06, .308, .270, 12 gauge, and common handgun calibers. If we don't have what you need, we can often order it.
Do you sell fishing tackle?
Yes! We carry tackle for trout fishing in the local streams and lake fishing at Sutton Lake and Burnsville Lake. Lures, baits, line, and basic gear.
Can I order something you don't have in stock?
Often, yes. Give us a call at (304) 649-2607 and let us know what you're looking for. We'll see what we can do.
Do you buy used guns?
Sometimes. It depends on what you have. Bring it by or give us a call to discuss.
